About this meditation
This 5-minute morning meditation invites you to pause before the day begins — to settle the nervous system, notice what you're grateful for, and arrive in the day instead of being grabbed by it.
Sit comfortably, take a few slow breaths, and let the meditation do the rest. By the time it ends, the day feels like yours to walk into.
Transcript
Welcome to your morning meditation.
Before we start, take a moment to set the scene for your morning awakening. If you have a jar of Beezy Beez CBN Cinnamon Sleep Honey, I invite you to enjoy a teaspoon before we begin. Its soothing blend can help awaken your body gently, supporting a calm and focused state to begin your day. If you don't have it on hand, don't worry — you can still fully experience the benefits of this practice.
Now, find a comfortable seated position, allowing your body to settle. Take a deep, steady breath in through your nose, feeling your chest rise and your shoulders relax. Hold it for a moment, and then exhale through your mouth, releasing any tension that might be lingering from the night.
As the morning light begins to brighten the day, I invite you to gently close your eyes and turn your awareness inward. Let this be a time for yourself, a time to invite gratitude into your heart and mind.
With your eyes closed, imagine a warm, golden light surrounding you. This light represents the energy of a new day, full of promise and possibility. Let it fill your body, from the top of your head, moving down to your shoulders, chest, and slowly to your toes. Feel this warmth as a reminder that you are safe, present, and alive.
Take another slow, deep breath in, letting it fill you with the feeling of thankfulness. As you exhale, release any doubt or worry you might be holding on to. Picture them dissipating into the morning air, leaving space for calm and clarity.
Now, let's invite gratitude into this moment. Think of one thing, however small, that brings a sense of appreciation to your life. It might be the comfort of your warm bed, the sound of morning birds, or the simple fact that you are here, breathing and experiencing this moment. Hold that thought in your mind, letting it expand, and fill your heart.
As you breathe in, imagine your gratitude growing brighter, sending a ripple of warmth throughout your body. Each breath strengthens this feeling, reminding you of life's blessings, even in their simplest forms. With each exhale, let go of any lingering tension, knowing that you are surrounded by the peace of a new day.
Repeat to yourself, either silently or out loud: I am grateful for this moment. I welcome the day with open arms and an open heart.
Feel your body relax further with each breath, your mind anchored in gratitude. Notice how your chest feels lighter, how your heart beats a little steadier. In this space, there is no rush, no list of tasks — only your breath and the deep-rooted sense of thankfulness guiding you forward.
As we slowly come back to the present, wiggle your fingers and toes, awakening your body gently. When you're ready, open your eyes and let the morning light welcome you fully. Take this gratitude with you today, letting it be a reminder of calm and strength no matter what the day may bring.
Thank you for sharing this practice with me. May your morning be peaceful and your day be touched with moments of joy.
